CABARET
for my movie inspired piece, in groups we looked into the seductive catergory and came acrooss the film 'Cabaret'. We liked the cover image to this film as it showed Liza Minnelli at her best angle with her leg propped up on a chair. We re-created this image using a corset and bowler hat. We played around with props and positioning and finalized on this image. I like how flattering corsets can be in pulling in at the waist. The image worked best in black and white as the mix matched colours of the corset and the background were non-contrasting.
